We were treated for a big “makan” at the office yesterday to celebrate what we have done well in 2009. A big scrumptious food laid out at the shaded management carpark for everyone in the company to enjoy. Well, there are around 1500 of us at the head office so there were lots of food and other dishes. A big brunch (well, its done at around 10am in the morning) for the whole company around Seria, not only at the head office but in about 10 company locations, so that’s a first.
Earlier, the MD announced how well the company has performed for the past year and what rewards are waiting for us. Smile.. Smile… It took us more than half an hour to find out, lol. (The macbook now lingering in my mind hahaha) Then it was announced. No problem there. But I must mentioned that its going a bit down for the past 3 years though, but whatever it is, we all know in this economy businesses can be tough. I don’t want to be the ungrateful one, because the money spent for the bonuses must be very staggering. I know we were the lucky ones who got this compared to the rest of the other workforce so we were very grateful.
