We were invited to attend our daughter award ceremony today at her old school to celebrate and recognise their achievements during their O level exam for 2010. Our daughter was amongst the recipients to receive certificate and other goodies for their hardwork and for making the school proud.
The ceremony started at around 9.00am, 15 minutes later than planned due to the late arrival of the guest of honour! But the ceremony went ahead without any problem, all smooth sailing and the event dragged on until about 11.30am. It was all good fun for my daughter, for her achievements, the recognition and also meeting all her friends who some didnt make it, or has left.
And I always tried to go to any events in the school, afterall its where my daughter strived in her study and because the principal is my good friend from our school days. It was always a pleasure to see her ;)
