Daring thieves!

You've got to be someone very daring to be able to do this in broad day light!

Went back to work and encountered news about some cars were broken into at my company head quarters parking space.  Right under everyone nose!  How come nobody saw this happen?  Although I must say, the parking space in the office was really huge.  There are may be 1,000 or 1,500 cars parked there every day.  So the thieves were so sleek and were not detected.  One could do just about everything and nobody knows.  There were events in the past, where cars were decorated without the owners knowledge on their birthdays, things like that.  But this is extreme case.  We heard later some items were stolen from the cars.  Which the owners shouldnt leave them there in the first place.  This was just a very unfortunate event, to replace those window screens must cost alot.

I think its about time the company install CCTV around the parking areas to deter similar incidents in the future.  As far as I knew, there were security guards patrolling the area a few times a day but then I found out they no longer do that, and see what happened!

So... note to self - never to leave valuables in the car and if I must, hide them!

Birthday wish!

This time, I wish to say happy birthday to our beloved pet who is 3 years old this month of September.  Sorry dear, we dont know when exactly was your birth date since we bought you when you were 3 months old.  According to the seller, you were born in September of 2008 and we brought you home in December 2008 when you were 3 months old (you were just so little then), so you must be 3 years old this month :)

Stay beautiful baby, we all love you although you are just a rabbit, lol.  We consider you as part of our family, and you are the most beautiful pet we ever had, not that we had many and we may be bias here. But you are.... aaaww....

Tarindak D Seni - My dad birthday celebration continues!

I guess my dad birthday celebration still going strong.  I hope this was going to be our last meal for his birthday!  I think I've gained the 2kg I lost during the fasting month.  Too much good food!

We had lunch at Tarindak D Seni on sunday.  This time it was my dad treat to all of us, including his half brother and wife who came all the way from KB.  They couldnt make it during the party and they felt so bad so they came for lunch instead. The restaurant was really nice, with good view and cozy ambience.  It was my first time here, and I really like the deco.  Very Bruneian.  The food was quite nice too and lots of choices.  And I think it cost B$15 per pax.

Dad 70th Birthday Celebration

After a few weeks of preparations, we had a blast celebrating our dad 70th birthday last night.  Alhamdulilah, it ran without a hitch and we enjoyed the company and the food.  Its all good!

My parents didnt know about it, although maybe they suspected something but we did succeed to surprise them on the night.  My youngest brother pretended to take them out to dinner without us.  But we already planned to go to the restaurant a bit later and surprised them with a birthday cake.

We waited outside for a few minutes then my brother came out and brought us all in to surprise my dad, and he was so surprise to see all of us there and kept on saying he had no clue, lol.  We told him we planned for it for a few weeks already, and it succeed.

Lovely night it was.  We had a good food, we presented him with our gift and after dinner we had a few games.  It was so fun.  I am hoping we could do this again next time, maybe for our mom.

The family were waiting outside the restaurant to surprise our dad.

I came with the birdaycake and dad was really surprise!

We were singing happy birthday to him, he was overjoy!

Blowing the candle.

We then moved to a special room for the ocassion where we decorated earlier.

After the cake, my nephew was reading the thanksgiving prayer.
