Interesting article! I think every households vary. When I think about it, how gross right? To share the bed with countless intruders. Dead skin cells, dust mites and their faeces, yuck!! Thats why a good mattress is so very important.

My office building under renovation, and its not nice!
Its been really crazy in the office. Workers are everywhere, noises from the constructions are deafening. I wonder how long we would e able to survive? By looking at the magnitude and the severity of the whole process, I guess not that long! Hahaha...
No, I was just kidding but it was really bad. The whole 15 floor building are shaking at the moment. Its hardcore noise and sound to say the least.
I wonder if anyone knows the whole story of the building we are in. Its called PGGMB Building, google it if you are interested to know what happened and how its been taken over by BIBD, I am just so not in the mood to explain here.
Too much going on right now. And two of the 6 lifts are not working anymore.
I heard they are renovating the whole place, we are squeezed between narrow temporary corridors (for us to pass through to get to the lift and onto our office on the 12th floor), scaffolding materials, cements, bricks (broken and new), heavy machineries and lots and lots of labourers. Its so inconvenient to walk around on the ground floor and equally hard to get to our 12th floor. We were informed this will take 6 months, so thats October? So we are bracing ourselves for 6 months of hell!

Dried Roseflower
Well.. what is that?
Found some strange but interesting thing when hubby and I went out at supermarket today. Its kind of our habit to look around for things when we went shopping. Today was no exception. We found this thing called dried roseflower. I didnt know what that was at first but when I looked closely, its the flower - the Roses, small and dried. I wonder if they were edible? It must be because they were placed at food area.
Well.. I've heard or read some flowers are edible, mostly they are cooked in petals. But these roses are still in buds and whole. I wonder how they taste like. And do we cook them? I tried to search some info about them but didnt find that much information. Hubby also found another unique leaves called Motherwort but when I searched for it, there is some information about it here.
Phew.. there are really so many unique things in this world that we need to learn!

I love chestnuts
I could be a compulsive eater. I could just east anything (halal, of course). I enjoy eating so much and it shows lol.. We as a family always eat out and try different dishes. And I know most of these eating out are just not so healthy. Its difficult to break this habbit!
Although I try to eat or drink some healthy snacks once in a while. Just to counter balance everything. And one of the thing I love to eat as snack is the chestnuts.
They are delicious, and nutritious and have lots of health benefits.. They are sweet, starchy and quite fulfilling. I couldnt stop eating them. We usually buy the chestnuts at our local supermarket. And I usually roast them and eat them raw. They are also sold in packets ready to eat. Yumm..

Restaurant Ayam Penyet AP
This restaurant was recently opened and it was our first time here. I couldnt believe the crowd! The place was packed and noisy. Its just so hard to move around, inside out, thats how packed the restaurant was. I guess thats the norm here, whenever a new place was introduced, there would be big crowds. You just have to see a few months down the line, whether the place could maintain the same crowd or not, hahaha. So we will see about that!
The location is at the newly finished row of shops at Gadong area. My brother treated the whole family with free lunch today so we jumped at the opportunity since he told us about the place recently.
The restaurant specialises on Ayam Penyet (although there were a twist - some other penyet as well like fish), a traditional meals from Surabaya Indonesia and seems so popular here in Brunei. And its one of my favourite dish too. The dish was not too bad here but I've tasted better. So thumbs up!

Abundance of dishes to choose from. I like the design, so colourful and bright. |

My first time at eChiro Tanjung Bunut
I've known about this therapy for a while and only today I got the chance and the time to give them a visit at their Tanjung Bunut branch. I also have heard how good and effective these treatments are, even hubby encourage me to go. So after picking up my daughter from school, we went there and gave it a try.
My verdict? I loved it!!!!!!!!!!! Although my daughter didnt enjoy it at all hehe. But they are quite popular really, and most of the clients are my age who has to battle so many health issues such as back and shoulder pain, diabetes, high blood pressure, insomnia, spine problem, etc, etc. And whats even better is that the treatment is free.
I want to go back, I wish I have some free time and spend 25 minutes of my time doing this. The lady encouraged me to come at least 4 times a week to see the effect. I want to go.............. I think it suits me very well. After the treatment my body feel so light as if I just went for a regular massage. I found out that this treatment could cure so many ailments and I wish it can treatment my shoulder pain.
The treatment took 25 minutes where we had to lie down in the echiro bed, then the heater was on for 10 minutes. After the heater, the theraphy started where the so-called Shiatsu roller did its work. It kind of rolled all over our backs and it might get a bit painful if you are not used to it, like my daughter but I just loved it. But I just didnt want it to end, 25 minutes just flew by.
I just have to make the time to go back!
Usually there would be briefing session here for half an hour before the treatment but we skipped that |

The house key story
Something extra ordinary happened to me last Sunday.
I was rushing to pick up my daughter from her tuition class, locked the front door when the cell phone rang. I answered the phone, put the house keys on top of my car and opened our front gate (why I did that? For obvious reason, I only have two hands!).
Then I FORGOT to take the keys from the top of my car, went in and drove off. I drove for almost 3 hours, went to pick up daughter in Kiulap, then had lunch with her at Pastamania. All these while didn’t have a clue about the keys.
Reached home almost 3 hours later and while in the car I was looking for the house keys and of course I was panicking since it was not in the car. I looked everywhere inside the car, and in my handbag but its gone. I was really upset since there is no way we could enter the house inless I called hubby who was about 100km away.
I tried to remember where did I put it last and suddenly remember, yup... I put it on the roof of the car!
And when I reached out, Masha Allah, the house keys were still there!
I was so relieve although I wasn’t sure why the keys didn’t fall off the road and lost. I’ve been driving around 80-100km per hour, in long stretch of roads but the keys stayed put. I really had goosebump and so thankful that Allah made this so easy for me, Alhamdulilah.
I guess the design of the roof of the car helped and since there were a bundle of keys there made it quite heavy and not easily moved around.
But next time, I make sure I wont be that careless again since good thing sometimes doesn’t happen twice lol.
Thats the house key still at the roof of my car, after I drove off |
The keys still safely stayed put |

Launching of the new BMW 3 Series
Like previously we were invited to attend the launching of the new 3 Series BMW at The Grand Samudra, Empire Hotel and Country Club last night.
The 3 Series were really beautiful, I like the body and the red colour one was gorgeous. They came with lots of new features such as enhanced performance and economical, which features the new BMW Twinpower Turbo. Although this time, there were only 2 model available, ie the 328i and 320d. Hubby was a bit dissapointed since he was hoping for the hybrid one. I guess not this time.
Like last time as well we got the chance to check out the new cars. They provided about 8 cars to look at which ranged from the 3 series to the 7 series. And I like the BMW M3 series the most! Although there is no way we could afford the car, it costs B$225,000 huhu.
But it was a good night. Mingling with the BMW enthusiasts with free food was always good, lol.
At the lobby before entering the hall, as usual I was looking for something hehehe |

The guests waited for the new car to unveil. |
As usual Jenny was the MC |
