Kiulap Roundabout

Its very interesting to know whats going to happen to our notorious Kiulap roundabout.  Last friday I saw many cones were put down to deter traffic from cheating and using the wrong lane while using the roundabout.  I saw it all the time.  People use the wrong lanes and cut queue to go to their destinations.  And it must stop.  I am glad the authority are doing something about it, like installing  CCTV around the area.

There has been too many accidents happened or waiting to happen. Its very dangerous for all motorists, especially those who endanger themselves and others by using the wrong lanes just to be a few seconds ahead of everyone else.

I applaud the authority, but there were people who didnt appreciate the initiatives.  Last saturday we saw one car with the passengers opened the car window and his hands were let out to knock the cones down!  What a stupid stupid act.  Didnt they think that its all about their own safety?

It beats me how could the authority had to do this to teach all these drivers on how to use the roundabouts?  Couldnt they think themselves on the right way?  Why do they need to cheat and endanger their lives and others?  No wonder there were so many accidents in Brunei.  They dont know how to use the roundabouts, they dont wear seatbelts, they cut queues, they tailgate, they speed, they run over the red lights, they put their kids on their laps and drive (yes thats true!) and so forth.  I think Bruneian drivers are the worst kind of drivers.  And I mean it.
