Me and my daughter spent some time together yesterday at the mall. Its been a while since we had a girly time together, its all good fun.
My girl wanted to watch this movie, starring her favourite actress - Kirsten Stewart. Its been at the movie for a few weeks now but I noticed the cinema was always full. I thought the story must be awesome so we just ignored the almost fully booked cinema and went ahead.
Well.. it was OK. Not great, I enjoyed maybe 50% of the story line. Of course Kirsten was lovely and Charlize Teron was beautiful too. But it didnt entice me because of the violence maybe.
We all know what Snow White is all about right? But in this story there was a twist to the fairy tale. The evil step mother of Snow White (The Queen) ordered the Huntsman to take Snow White into the woods and killed her but he winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen.
What I dont understand was who is this evil step mother. The story didnt show who she was and where she came from at the begining of the story, which makes the story abit lose. Well, my girl was happy to watch her on the screen so its all that mattered.
Anyway, we reached the mall at around 10.30am, the movie started around 12.10 noon. We decided to go to the saloon to kill the time and had a relaxing morning, just the two of us :)
